Travel Info What do people think of the birmingham bullring? eyesore or magical? Travel Tips It's magical baby just like the rest of my fair city. Others I like it and the Rotunda too! As it is now, or as it was. Now it is a clinical shopping mall with a glitzy showcase selfridges building. Besides Selfridges (which is tacky) its just like any other centre. In the past, they had a vibrant market community that many enjoyed. At first I thought it had chicken pox. But I got used to it. Inside its got some cool shops and is quite magical. But its such a shame they closed the Birmingham eye. Its got a nice Chinese Restaurant near it- Wagamomas- I think that's how u spell it! i thought it was k! nice and spacious inside but the quality of shops is crap inside. being a true brummy i like it its a lot better than what it was it attracts alot of tourists Has it not been gutted and re-built (not the Rotunda, but the buildings around it...has the Rotunda been jazzed up externally?). Was there not a market in the mid-seventies - that's the last time I saw it close up! |
