Travel Info Which is dirtier? Which is older looking? Which is a funner place to visit? Which has the better nightlife? Which has nicer people? What are they like? Etc., etc.. Travel Tips Im from the Midlands, West Brom, is hate the place. I live in Wolves cause im at Uni there!!! and i like the place i also like Coventry thats a nice place, bit boring though!!! Best night life is probably Wolves since you have all the clubs, bars and the SU bar at uni all in close proximity to each other Others I'm at a loss Rita. I don't know which of these three could win the ugliest town in Britain contest! It would have to be a three way tie. Seriously, I'll give you a little picture. All are/were industrial powerhouses in their own rite. Coventry's city centre is all post-war, post-modern brutalistic architectural nightmare due to the damage it suffered during the blitz. The other two have retained a lot of the Victorian satanic mill appearance to them, especially West Bromwich. Wolverhampton is a university town, so there is more vibrancy with a better educated populace. The other two places are down right dumps, where I doubt any of their inhabitants have even read a book, much less gone to university. Coventry has more Victorian/Edwardian terraced housing than most British cities. This is especially odd since it's town centre was obliterated during the war. West Bromwich is populated by many Asians. Coventry has a large Black community. I think Coventry has much more active industry left while most of West Bromwiches factories are all boarded up now. Coventry is definitely the dirtiest of the three. Lots of smoke stacks, car factories, machine shops, foundries, and the type of @ssholes who work in these kind of places. Coventry has way too many rockheads, hooligans, smackheads, p)ssheads, and troublemaking yobs too. The people there are not very nice. I'd say you'rebetter off visiting Wolverhampton. Go to West Bromwich (Smethwick) especially if your surname is Singh. Be sure to try the curry andthe beef madras! Birmingham is the best place to visit for night life and grat entertainment. coventry is the dirtest birmingham have the best people. |
