What is the birmingham carling academy (UK) like? |
Travel Info i am going there on the 17th july.. have no idea what it is like in there, heard it isnt that nice, but i dont care i just wanna go see gch!!! yeah but is it like moshing? i take it it is standing though; anyone been there? xo Travel Tips It's a dump, however some very good bands start there. I used to work close and remember seeing bands like the kaiser chiefs and babyshambles on the play list. Others never mind what what sharon w says, it's a great little venue. i go there all the time and it has had some great bands on over the years and you can get close to the stage. it got several bars, toilets, cloakroom and a balcony, which is only open if a big band is playing. there are a few seats around the edge of the venue, but who wants to sit down when there is a mosh pit on the go!!! go there and have a great time and you will want to go back for more keep on keeping on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
