Are there any americans living in the dudley area of the west midlands ? |
Travel Info I moved to England a year ago, and i hear people say they know OF americans living around here but i have not met any. Travel Tips I'm an American that previously lived in the UK and now here visiting, there is a good site for expat Americans (Yanks) in the UK... www.uk-yankee.com it has a great forum, you may find someone in your area. Good Luck! Others If there are...then I can but sympathise with them. Well Dudley is hardly the place where people abroad would wish to move to (defeats the purpose). Same goes for Solihull. Basically, Birmingham area is a dump. Dudley's OK. It just has a slight image problem. I used to live in America, and Dudley looks like Venice compared to Lubbock. I live near Dudley and I haven't seen any Americans around! we have buffalo at the zoo,but that's black country humour for ya,if you don't find anyone were a friendly lot,we will make you feel welcome xx |
