are you able to get refreshments in the airport 24 hrs a day.we have to book in there at 4am and have not used that airport before

yes i was ther last week waiting for a courier all night.The only food place that stays open all night is downstairs near the entrance,the shop next door is open all night as well

the last time l was there l recall a lot of vending machines in the lobbies for use at all hours. so your answer is yes ,you'll be able to get a hot drink at least.

Ive been to this airport many many times!!!!! I know someone who worked there and ive been there at all different hours. If you are there at 4am, I would take something with you. Coffee shops seem to open at about 7-8 am so you will probably be stuck. I have walked around trying to find a place there before to no avail. I say take breakfast with you!! However, there may be somewhere when you get through the check in gate. But do you want to chance it. May be you should phone them about that one.
Hi there, yes there are a couple of places, though it sounds like you are transiting through. In which case, you may find you are stuck 'Flight side' with only a few vending machines for company. I always feel let down by the level of service when a come back to UK. Especially if I am with colleagues from abroad, even third world countries seem to do more for their customers than businesses in Britain.
