Travel Info Got anything about Boston that would be found in a Travel Brochure? (food, entertainment, geography, climate, etc.) Travel Tips I Love Boston!!! I have been there twice. The first time was in Dec. it was windy but still nice out. That was in 1998. Very beautiful it was in Hudson. Hilly a lot like Upper Mich. Next was in the summer of 2004, around the 4th of July. We stayed at the Windham a very nice hotel, about two blocks from the harbor. They had special fire works for the troops. We ate at Legal Seafood one night was very good if you like seafood. We saw the Town Market where they met to plan the revolution. The bars there are very old style pubs. Very cool we were treated very well by everyone we met, also went to Cher's, and to Bunker hill. They have a great aquarium and you can take a charter boat out to see whales. We did this. One thing I would love to do if I ever go again is to go to Salem. Have fun!! You will love it. The Union Oyster House is the oldest restaurant still in operation in the U.S. The food is unbelievable, especially if you like seafood. The Samuel Adams brewery is a must-stop for any beer lover. The Boston Commons area is great, too, just to wander around. Boston is a great city. Check out Fanieul Hall (sp?) It has 100+ restaurants Run along the Charles river...very popular hangout Harvard square is cool The Harbor is interesting...it has the Constitution there I believe BTW...go to Finagle A Bagel...the best in the nation! |
