where are all the shops??????????
abercrombie etc......

Travel Tips
Wish you said what kind of stores you like. Harvard Sq. across from Boston has to rate near the top, since it combines some popular chain stores, some limited chains (aka Lush) but still has any unique and interesting shops where there are awesome finds. Add the fun atmosphere, especially in summer and aside from parking hell it's a near perfect outing. And pretty sure the Abercrombie is still there :)

For high end shopping the place to go is Copley Square and Newbury Street. There is convenient parking under Copley Square, with a great combo of Saks and lovely stores, though something in most ranges. And nearby Newbury Street has all the high end boutiques, high end unique shops and a few more mainstream ones. Great people watching spot too.

Personally I'm not a fan of the Cambridgeside Galleria. It's either an inconvenient T ride or you have to pay to park at a mediocre mall loaded that caters to kids. They almost got it right a bunch of years ago then it slid way downhill if you ask me. I'd go there only if I didn't drive and really needed a big mall.

Downtown Crossing used to be the place to go, but with Macy's closed and Filene's basement closing for renovations, it's a shadow of it's former self. They are working on redoing the area, but for now not much there unless you want to hit the Basement before it's 2 year closing.

OH there actually is some pretty good shopping at Quincy Market. Mixed in with the unique pushcarts are many chain stores, and it's another fun place to shop.

Those are the main in town shopping areas, but there are lot's more nearby.

Others
Go to the Cambridge Galleria, they have it all, otherwise Downtown Crossing.
Where are all the shops?

You could ask the same question about Boston, Lincolnshire
Newberry Street - Nike Town, Versace (I can't wear or spell it), DSW, Abercrombie...all that. Have fun!! Oh, it's down the street from the Boston Pops, the theatre district.
Burlington Mall has abrecrombie, hollister, aeroplostale, and a bunch of other good shops.
south shore plaza in braintree!!
