Is Jetblue good?

Travel Tips
Jet Blue is the greatest airline on earth. reasonably priced, new and clean planes with direct TV in your seat. I try to fly nothing else. Don't give into the recent bad hype.. sadly that kind of shenanigans happens all the time. Jet Blue actually came forth with a passenger bill of rights. if that were any other airline it would have been swept under the rug or considered par for the course.

If you go here, you can see its history and more information. That way you can check it out and see if you like it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/jetblue_air...
Actually, I've never flown JetBlue because every time I look for tickets, it's more expensive than other airlines - sometimes considerably more so. (I usually fly American Airlines or USAirways). I just flew to Florida for business, and JetBlue was about $100 more expensive than American. So it's actually a myth that JetBlue is always a lot cheaper than other airlines.

That said, their reputation is that they have pretty good on-board service (nice planes with individual TV screens at each seat, etc., nice flight attendants, easygoing, etc.)

One bad thing about them (and same for other "low-fare" airlines as well): In the event of cancelled flights, they will only be able to re-book you on another JetBlue flight. With the other major carriers (American, Continental, Northwest, etc...) they will try to put you on another flight with the same airline, but have ticketing arrangements with other airlines if there's a major snowstorm or something. One of my coworkers was supposed to fly JetBlue to go on vacation, and her flight got cancelled due to an "ice storm" that never really happenend. And even worse, they told her that the next flight she could get on was 4 days later, because they could only put her on another JetBlue flight. She ended up buying a last-minute ticket on American (for more money), and getting a refund from JetBlue. But a major airline could have possibly put her on another airline...

Anyway I digress. Basically if it's a lot cheaper then go for it but chances are it might not be a lot cheaper.
I fly 100 times a year.
