I'm going to Boston USA in December? |
Travel Info what shud I see do whilst there? Also can anyone reccommended any craft shops? Thanks Travel Tips I can't help you with craft shops, but I can give you suggestions on what to do. While you're there, take a Duck Tour, walk the Freedom Trail, take a trolley tour, go to a Red Sox game, the Aquarium, or do some shopping on Newbury Street (Boston's version of Rodeo Drive) or Quincy Market. Check out the Skywalk at the Prudential for a neat view of the city, or go to any of the museums, like the Museum of Fine Art, the JFK Museum, or the Museum of Science. A citypass (http://www.citypass.com/city/boston.html... ) is a nice way to see a lot of things for a low price. Search for any of these ideas online for more information. Boston is a fantastic city with a lot to do. You won't be bored. If you're staying at a hotel, stop by and see the concierge as well. They will have other suggestions. Others You should definitely do the duck tours and the Science museum. The freedom trail is good if you like spending your day walking around. It brings you to Fanuel Hall and the Boston Massacre star. There's also some great shopping places near Fanuel Hall. A Red Sox game would be great. They're very fun. Agree totally with the two other suggestions. Although I would suggest the trolley bus tour before walking the trail. I was there in February this year and did all those plus a "must do" is go up the Prudential building. 52 stories high and a fantastic view all around the city, you can spend a hour up there easily. The mall under the tower has a great Italian restaurant but make sure you are starving first, there is always too much to eat. |
