Travel Info Is San Fransico more or less expensive than NYC or Boston? Travel Tips San Francisco can be inexpensive, it just depends on your tastes. For the most part, San Francisco is cheaper than NYC, but i don't know about Boston. Living there is only slightly cheaper, and eating, or shopping is pretty much the same. Though, in San Francisco, you can find a lot of little restaurants that are very inexpensive, and have great food. But you can also choose from a variety of high class restaurants, with high class prices. San Francisco also has a lot to choose from when it comes to food like: Mexican, Salvadorian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and some Russian Cuisine. So, San Francisco can be cheaper, but it depends on what you plan on doing, and what kind of things you like to do. But parking costs ARE EXPENSIVE. So just use you're BMW (bus, muni, and walking) :) Source(s): :) Other Travel Tips I've heard that it's more expensive than NYC or Boston simply because the cost of living in California in general is higher. There about the same. Stupid money all 3. 1 st San Fran 2 nd New York 3rd Boston. It's pretty comparable - maybe slightly more but it's pretty much the same. San Francisco is DEFINETLY more expensive than Boston. NYC would be the most expensive, followed by San Francisco, then boston in that order. Is it worth it?! I dont know! NYC is definately worth it. |
