How old must you be to stay in a hotel?

Im 17, and i want to stay in a hotel in boston, Mass. I have permission from my parents to go, but im going alone. Any help?

passport and credit card, if you have both you'll be fine, you cant drink alcohol though

i think older than 18 by yourself or you have to have id
you have to be 18 with an I.D
Most importantly, you need a credit card. Most places won't take you unless you're 18, and some won't unless you're 21. Have your parents make a reservation first, and then bring their credit card and you shouldn't have a problem.
