Travel Info Has anyone been to six flags New England with children(6&4)?Would it be a wsted day?How about Go Boston Card? Travel Tips I haven't been there, but the first thing to consider is when you're going. Currently they're open weekends only, and on weekdays starting May 25th. You didn't say when you were planning on going... just thought this info might be of some help, if you do decide to go! (My boyfriend and I were planning to go Friday and found out it's not open yet... I'd hate for you to do the same!) Others Yes, i've been i've had a season pass too. yes it would be a wasted day. the only thing they have for that age group is i think a wiggles show and a kiddie coaster. and 1 like 7 year old coaster called poison ivy. Unless youre kids love roller coasters and are freakishly tall i wouldnt go to SFNE. seasons pass when i was 11. The area for younger children is pretty small, so it may be a waste. If you look at their website you can see each individual ride and attraction. I would wait a few years and then go. The Go Boston Card is a much better idea. Also, their website is offering discounts on certain cards right now, but the sale ends today. With that card the kids would probably love to go see Fenway Park, and the Aquarium, and everyone loves Duck Tours. That right there would save you money, and fill some days with fun! I think you'd have a great time, I always recommend that card to anyone who may be doing several attractions in the city. For the price that you would have to pay for their tickets it would be a wasted day. They have a very small section for childrens rides. I hate Six Flags! The lines are extremely long. The water park fills up so fast you can't find a tube. If you go, get there extremely early to beat the crowds. Otherwise, go somewhere else like Canobie Lake Park or something like that. |
