What time do the bars close in Boston, MA on Saturday nights?

The confusion is legally the bars can stay open until 2. Most do in the populated areas. Some of the smaller ones will close at 1, and as is usual most start the last call rush about 1:30.

But 2 am is when the majority technically close.They close at 2, but many places try to start closing around 1, and push people out by 2.

Generally 2am. Places like Avalon and Axis . Keep in mind that if you're relying on the T for transport you may have to leave early.
Clubs that in more residential areas tend to close at 1am.
