Best irish pub? |
Travel Info im going to boston on a w-e for a show, but after the show i'd like to go to a nice irish pub, there are so many that I would like you guys to recommend me a nice one please ! also i'll be in boston on the day after (sunday) till 4-5 pm .. what is there to do ?? I think harvard must be nice to visit .. suggestions please !!! Travel Tips The Black Rose is the best Irish pub in Boston. Great Irish music and good food. It is located in Faneuil Hall on State Street. As far as Sunday goes, you can walk around Faneuil Hall again, head to the public gardens. Harvard and Harvard Square is not to bad. Good food there too and a great people watching place. Others best pub no lie is in west roxbury, part of boston. it is on the corner of center and lagrange street. it is called the Corrib Pub. its the greatest. they also pretty good food. and its not in a bad location either. becuz i know when ppl. hear roxbury they think of the ghetto, but its actually not dangerous. Boston is full of irish pubs. If you're going to be in Boston Proper, then here's a few that you'll like: An Tain 31 India Street, Boston, MA An Tua Nua 835 Beacon Street, Boston, MA Clerys 113 Dartmouth Street, Boston, MA These pubs are more traditional irish pubs, rather than tourist traps...The Grand Canal, on Canal Street in Boston is a tourist trap (near the TD Banknorth Garden), but can be pretty fun. My favorite though is actually in Brookline - Matt Murphy's on Harvard St. They pour a mean Guinness. Faneiul hall has a bunch. You have Black Rose, Kitty O'sheas (my favorite), sissy k's, purple shamrock all in walking distance! Enjoy! |
