Where is the best nightlife on Thursday night in downtown Boston? |
Travel Info lounge scene Travel Tips I'd start at Fanuel Hall (Quincy Market). That is always hopping, especially in the summer. Not totally sure what you mean by "lounge" though. The Black Rose is usually a good spot and often has live music. And it's fun to just walk around and see what looks, sounds good as there are over a dozen bars in that area. The Rack usually is hopping...it's a love it or hate it place lol. Oddly I'd suggest Landsdowne St if it wasn't a game night lol! Jillian's is usually a lot of fun and there pretty much is a club for every taste. I much prefer the downstairs bar to the upstairs pool but you can wander everywhere. Problem is if it's game day it's either impossible or expensive to park and the crowds are horrid. Wish you explained more what you like. There are a few great spots that are a bit more laid back in Harvard Sq. If you detail exactly what you like (dance, live music, loud, laid back, etc) I'd know what might be what you are looking for. But those spots have a little bit of most and are almost always a fun night out. Others Silvertone's is a mellow looking place but is hopping w/the after work crowd on Thursdays. For later in the evening check out the Living Room - kind of between the waterfront and the North End. Oh, and there's a Sox game tonight, so Lansdown St, where there are a multitude of bars, will be hopping! Quincy Market has a bevy of bars both sports and dance ones that you could enjoy, and they're always hopping. |
