Is U.S. route 44 in plymouth county actually a freeway these days,or so I heard?

Travel Info
Is it better now than going though the old way. it would seem so I believe.

Travel Tips
there's a new section that just opened a couple years ago. the old part that went through Carver and Plymouth is now at Exit 7 off of Route 3 and it's a 4 lane highway until you cross over Route 58 in Carver then it goes back down to 2 lanes again. it's much faster and I don't dread heading towards Middleboro anymore.
Others
Not a freeway strictly speaking, it has a few stoplights and intersections, but at least it does bypass the main road coming onto Court St like it used to, and you do make better speed on it.
