Live in Boston?? Yes or No?

Travel Info
I have always loved Boston. My thing is tho what would b a good area to live in. Not a terrible area. But not over the top. Im from the Northeast suburbs of Detroit so what would u recommend? I love shopping, clubbing, movies, and coffee shops. I love the beach! I love the ocean its amazing. Where would u recommend. Looking for apartments no houses yet!

Travel Tips
I live in Braintree and I don't recommend living there because of crime rates. Don't get me wrong Boston is a great place to hang out and do all that stuff. I suggest living in the Cambridge area or Braintree they are pretty close to Boston you can even hope on a train for very little money.
to look for apartments try www.apartments.com hope this helps.

One thing living in New England you have to love the patriots say good-bye to the Lions.

Hope this help and good luck. Source(s): Live in Southern Boston Area and work there
Other Travel Tips
Some parts of Dorchester.
Most parts of West Roxbury.
The North End
Most parts of Charlestown.

Also, though not part of the city- Somerville and Cambridge have some safe, affordable areas.

Stay away from Roxbury and Mattapan. Not safe.
nope
yepp I live in Boston.....yes..all those things you can find in Boston....just avoid these neighborhoods......Roxbury, dorchester, hyde park, jamaica plain, and north cambridge.....ok well I hope this helps.....
Boston is a great city with history and atmosphere. I recommend it!
For what you are looking for: of all the close-in neighborhoods check into South Boston and Revere. Further out but served by the T (public transit system): Nahant, Gloucester/Rockport and Newburyport.
