What is the best things to see in Boston? |
Travel Info This is for those who lived in Boston or been to Boston. What would you says is one of the best things to do in Boston. Likes place to eat, to see, and other things that most tourist don't know about.... Travel Tips Cool thing to see? The secret Nike store near Berklee College of Music... Its about two blocks down from Berklee on a side street and it is completely disguised as a run down convenience store with fake cockroaches in the window and everything...There is no hint of it being anything Nike...it's hours are funny so you might have trouble getting in...but once you do...you enter the run down convenience store and then you have to press a button on a 7up machine...and the machine opens as a door and there you are...in the store... i swear this is real I've been in side a couple times...seriously try and find it and check it out...it's just overpriced Nike stuff, but it's worth the adventure! Others The entire city well i love the marriott custom house mon-thurs 10 am and 4 pm free tour of the top over looking boston,,,,,,, There's probably way too much to see to list it all here. However, you should definitely walk around the city. That's the best way to see it. Go up to Little Italy and you will find plenty of great restaurants. Also, you might want to check out Newbury Street in Back Bay for restaurants and shopping. Copley Square is a good place to find upscale shops. Be sure to get tickets to a Red Sox game if you can. It'll be worth it. There is nothing more distinctly Boston than Fenway Park. Walking around in Boston Common and the Public Gardens is another suggestion. If you want to be really touristy, go and eat at Cheers on Beacon Street. The front of it will be familiar (from the show), but inside is totally different. If you are impressed by Ivy League schools, it might be worth taking the Red Line out to Cambridge and checking out Harvard and the old prep haven, "Casablanca's". Also, a really good seafood restaurant back in Boston is "No Name's". It is located over by the World Trade Center in a seemingly abandoned warehouse. The area looks a little sketchy at first, but its perfectly fine. It's right on the water. Have a good trip and enjoy Boston. |
