I am looking to spend three to four days in CAPE COD? |
Travel Info Does anyone know a nice place to stay their? I want a nice place but not very expensive. I prefer a resort .... thank you Travel Tips I am not going to suggest a really a nice place to stay but a really nice place to visit once you are on Cape Cod .. Check out the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, Cape Cod. Beautiful nature if you like that kind of stuff. Source(s): http://www.seetheglobe.com/modules/wfrev... Other Travel Tips Wish I did. I'm more of a Newport, RI fan then the cape. : ) I've heard good things about the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, which is a great location if you are visiting the cape very central and the beaches are pretty good. You can get a room there for about $200/night. http://www.capecodderresort.com... A good place to reference for more information is http://www.capecodtravelguide.com/... In this area most people have a preference for either the Cape or Newport, RI. Personally I prefer Newport, better restaurant, better nightlife, has more of a resort feel, but to each his own. You'll still really enjoy the cape! Dodi...could you give a little more info. Besides just a resort (and there are several in the Yarmouth area you might want to look at ie The Red Jacket, The Cape Codder, and several more), what type of area do you like?? Are you looking for the quiet, slow and easy Cape, or were there is more activity with lot's of people, stores and restaurants/nightlife? Do you want to explore other parts of the cape or just fine one place that to stay in that will have most onsite? I have a few ideas but it would help to know more about what you want. Also when you say not expensive maybe you could give a price range. I think I can add some far more useful info that way. I'll check back and add more if you do!!! If not do check the above as a starting point. Will give a link below that lists many resorts on the Cape. I started you out in Hyannis, but just use the drop down menu and check out S. Yarmouth etc. I prefer farther down the Cape myself...but this site is good place to start IMHO http://www.virtualcapecod.com/resorts,hy... Without having too many specifics it's difficult to say. Do you have one set area of the Cape in mind? The Cape Codder is the nicest resort type, but some people would say it is pricey, as it ranges around $200-$250 per night. If you are in Hyannis that is basically a good central location so no matter what you are looking for, you could start there. We go to Cape Cod pretty frequently. We have family in Dennis. We've stayed at a few different places while there. We like the All Seasons Motor Inn in Yarmouth. They have alot of amenities and the price isn't outrageous. Buffet breakfast, two heated pools, one inside and one outside, hot tub, work out room with really good equipment, I could go on and on. It's also located close to Hyannis, where, of course, there are hundreds of attractions. |
