Skate Spots in Central Massachusetts? |
Travel Info i live in Holden, it's just north of Worcester. I need to find some good skate spots, like parks, schools, etc. around my area. I could just drive around and check every park, school, library, or mall around me, but if i can get any details of good known skate spots, it would save me time and gas. Exclude any busy areas if possible, i don't feel like getting harrased by people, cops chasing me, cars running me over, or getting stabbed. (i'm paranoid about that, like REALLY paranoid) thanks Travel Tips I'd be surprised if Worcester doesn't have at least a couple spots specifically built for skates/boards etc. A store that sells boards in Worester should definitely know. In my town they have a store and that's the first place you always see skaters hanging around. They get kicked off the sidewalk in front of it when there's too many of them. But everyone expects them to be there too. They must even have like an indoor gym or two they might sometimes use in one or two towns. Worchester has the Centrum and some other stuff. There just HAS to be at least a few professional skate competitions to watch there during the summer. I'd expect maybe lots of local info gets printed n brought there too. Source(s): The real answer when you ask other skaters "Any good skating places around here?" Is usually always going to be like :) "Not Enough". But about ten15 years ago, every worchester size city came up with sOmething. I've seen some home-built stuff too years ago. Other Travel Tips |
