What is fun to do in Brighton?

The Pavillion is amazing - a sort of monument to excess and ostentation built by the Prince Regent. There are equisitely decorated rooms with hand painted wallpaper and antique furniture. The kitchen is set up as though preparing for one of the enormous eighty course banquets George was famous for.

The Lanes are great for shopping - especially antiques, jewellery and cult beauty brands.

On the seafront (under the arches) there are endless clubs and bars with great nightlife and a couple of decent restaurants.

Finally, the pier is a must-do - donuts and amusement arcades!

Not a lot . . . unless your over 65
Brighton has two big universities nearby and so has a large population of young party people, so lot to do in terms of nightlife. A lot of people drive down from London its so good.

I lived there for 4 years and there is plenty to do: shopping, hanging out on the beach, great places to go cycling or hiking nearby (Sussex Downs or out on the coastal roads), watersports in the English Channel.

There are some touristy sites, such as the Brighton Pavillion (an Indian style palace), the aquarium, Brighton Pier.

Lots of great cafes and bars also.

The Brighton Pier is a great time...and depending on if you go when I go back to England, the nearby beach might have a fiery topless girl on it lol
clubs, bars, resturants, its chilled here, lay back relax and soak up the ambience
The train is quite fun to catch it to London!. The beach is pebbles, so not very comfy to sit on, the pier has a funground at the end but the rides are 拢2-3 each so quite expensive for a 30 second ride...let me see.......'The Lanes' are interesting if you like shopping, different shops like in Soho....loads of clubs and bars...the pubs are probably better, nightclubs aren't that good, unless you're on something strong.....The comedy club 'Komedia' is good fun, acts from around the country and you get a discount if a student...Devils Dyke has a great view across the downs and coastal towns also has a pub at the top, Sea World near the pier, haven't been but looks good....if it's a nice sunny warm day relaxing around the bars and seaside are nice, but on any other day it's quite a boring place to be (and grey!)...good day to catch that train to London!.
