Travel Info Brighton, its amazing, i love it!! anyone else? Travel Tips I love Brighton. "London by sea" is the alias. Wonderful, colourful and great. Doctors in yesteryear prescribed Brighton as part of the treatment for patients because for its good air! "Brighton air will do him/her a lot of good!" they used to say. Lovely cultural zones (the lanes etc). and lovely periphery scenery. Go for it. Others its OK Never been there but I am going to the Scissor Sisters next month. Really looking forward to it. If you have been to Mamma Cheries and have any comments to make can you let me know by mail? i have never been, unbelievably! will make a point of doing though, next summer I live in Brighton... :) It's fantastic, very laid back and multicultural. To the person who mentioned Mamma Cherie's unless you go in the day, you're looking at a 3 month booking time... Tons of other fantastic restaurants though - Englishes is great if you like fish, and Little Preston Street (aka, food street) has many great places to eat. Just don't buy anything in the Laines...slightly overpriced. i love palace pier in brighton even in winter dreadful, dirty, overcrowded, overpriced place! Watch out for the pigeons and seagulls - they can be deadly accurate! And don't stand still in one spot for too long or you'll sink into the layer of discarded chewing gum. The "Big Issue" vendors are very friendly! |
