Restaurants and things to do in Brighton? |
Travel Info I'm taking my boyf to Brighton in May to celebrate our first year together; does anyone know of any good restaurants and anything we can do during a weekday in Brighton?? Many thanks! Travel Tips What sort of food are you interested in? If you want nice grub, try Sevendials Resturant (off sevendials roundabout) or Cafe Nia just off the North Laines. Maybe take him down the seafront - good location is Al Fresco, but the food there is not asgood as it used to be. You can then stroll down the beach front (provided it's not too windy!) I lived in Brighton my whole life and ill let you know the best restaurants :) Restaurants: - Harrys English Restaurant - its english but good food. 41 Church Road, Brighton - Ganges! (my local indian restaurant, and youd have a job to beat it) Also in Church Road. - Piccolo's - Italian, 56 Ship Street, Brighton...thats in the lanes so is a nice spot, and its quite romantic to take a walk through the lanes in the evening. As for things to do in the day, i would really recommend the tour bus we have, me and my friends go on it every summer just for a laugh, You can get on just outside the pier and get on and off wherever you want, such as Churchill square or the marina, which is always nice...and its an open top bus.. There will be lots to do in Brighton...you'll find different things to do... you could go to the cinema at the marina or take a walk down their near all the boats (very romantic in early evening)...just the time all the bars open down there..... oh and its the number 7 bus you get down to the marina from Churchill square i hope you have a lovely time :) and hoped i helped a bit x me! :) |
