Good pubs/clubs in Brighton?

Going to Brighton this weekend for a hen weekend, can anyone suggest any good pubs/clubs we should visit on our crawl!

In a nutshell: Pubs/bars on the beach are great if the weather is good. Try OHSO by the pier or Fortune of War.
In The Lanes try Smugglers or Font n Firkin for a big group.
West Street is where the "Friday night crowd" go - loud and annoying, but you might like it.
Loads of better pubs outside the centre.

Nightclubs: Ocean Rooms, Funky Buddah, Audio, Zap, The Beach are all great but check out their websites to see what kind of music they will be playing on the nights you want to go. Source(s): www.pubjury.co.uk

i cant remember any good names but there are so many all in the same area with people handing out flyers for places....i will say though that it is very pricey on weekends as people know people come down for the weekend breaks...
I was in brighton a few weeks ago and went to a club called the ocean rooms, had a wicked night!!!!
