You should be able to do it in about 11 1/2 to 12 hours, keep in mind that they do have a lot of roadworks at the moment! It is a good road and more than two thirds of it is now a four lane divided road. There are overtaking lanes at least every ten kilometres. do you intend to drive non stop? if so, 12 hrs on the pacific highway. a lot longer on the new england (inland) highway as more two lane traffic only & a great many heavy trucks hauling goods north - esp dangerous at night. |
