Travel Info Would like some advise on home and land packages in Brisane and Gold Coast. Pros and cons and advice would be great. Travel Tips Im doing that right now, but in Melbourne Pros: You get a brand new house that you can move straight into without having to worry about renovating You get to pick everything you could possibly want for your budget and its all done before you move in You have a 7 year warranty on workmanship Cons: You possibly have to pay rent and a mortgage at the same time which can make it tight. The actual building can be held up because of weather, council and trade shortage. For me it was the best option as I was able to stick to my budget, and get a brand new house, instead of a 2 bedroomed apartment that needed extra money to renovate. Others most home and land packages are located a fair distance from city centre and rail line. most are in new subdivisions may be cheaper than trying to do it on your own i.e. buying the land first then finding a builder & may take months to get building started. you save on taxes and stamp duties check out redland shire - Heisig Builders, Fiteni Builders, Ausbuild. |
