The main accommodation and business areas are well serviced by buses and taxis, but there's only one train line into Brisbane and there are only four train stations on the Gold Coast, none of them anywhere near the airport. If you are staying at a hotel or apartment on the coastal strip you won't have any trouble getting to and from the airport, or to the beach, or to the theme parks, because there are plenty of courtesy buses and tours running at all hours of the day, but if you need to get out into the suburbs for any reason (eg. you are planning on moving there) your best bet would be via taxi, or your own rental car. Honestly, GoldCoast has never been my cup of tea - go to Brisvegas in stead (or Brisbane as its known) - heaps better shopping, nightlife, well, everything, really!! Gees u r at the prime age....The gold coast is party central escpecially from the middle of november to Christmas. It is situated south of Brisbane, the capital of QLD (the state. It has extremely popular beaches, great shopping, eternal amount of clubs and sooo much accomodation. Would reccomend to anyone Check it out |
