What is the best/cheapest/easiest way to ship personal stuff from U.S. to Australia? |
Travel Info I am moving to Australia from the U.S. and I am planning on selling most of my stuff, except some personal stuff like books, cloth and shoes and art work. I have never done international moving before, would like some good advices on shipping companies or services - I figured that I shouldn't ship via USPS? I don't care how long it takes to arrive, but would like cheap prices and good services. THANK YOU! Travel Tips Hi... I am moving to Australia from the USA as well.. I did a quote from like 10 to 16 different places and I found UPakWeShip to be the least expensive. Not only just that, they have replied to every single email I sent.. and sometimes that was 5 times a day. I would not use USPS.. for a 65lb box and that is the limit, its 480. With UPakWeShip.. they come to get the stuff from your home, or you can bring it to their warehouse. They crate it.. ship it.. easy and done.. they said that it should take 60 to 90 days or so, by freightliner.. Others I can ship your cargo from Los Angeles to all major Australian ports. Please email me at kasra@shipit.com for quotes. Let me know how it goes for you guys, Im moving to Sydney with my baby next year from the US as well. Ive been looking at prices to ship my car and all my belongings in one container on an ocean liner and it was $3000 and it would take 3 months. |
