To those who live in Australia, any suggestions on nice places to visit? |
Travel Info well, im flying to Australia on Friday. I'd like to know some attractions there. I'm into extreme sports. Bungee jumping, roller coasters etc. I'd like to surf but my dad told me its winter right now. so.. any suggestions? pls and thank you. Travel Tips I'm from the Sunshine Coast, it's glorious in winter, not too cold at all (oh maybe for 2 weeks in August when the Brisbane show is on!), try skydiving on the beach in Caloundra, awesome! If you can get a wetsuit surfing it still fine in winter, not cold at all in the middle of the day. Others it is winter here now but that's good for surf just bring a wetsuit.and visit the south coast, drive the ocean road, climb sydney harbour bridge. The northern or top half of the country is influenced by the tropics so they are undergoing their dry season now. visit the daintree forest, go to uluru (formerly ayers rock), and drink lots of beer! The so called "Sunshine Coast" is glorious at any time of year. The beaches are great, the food is great and the temperature is just right. Travel up to the north of Queensland and go to the GBR, and try snorkelling and scuba diving. Ooh and visit Fraser Island (largest sand island in the world, a World Heritage Site) Have a great trip!! Have travelled the Sunshine Coast and in Queensland. www.australia.com Depends which city you fly into. Head North to Queensland as the weather is perfect at the moment. Great surfing, diving & adventure sports on offer. http://www.totaltravel.com.au/ tasmania is really nice sydney or corse the gold coast brisbane carines melbourne fraser island darwin is awsome and alice springs |
