Travel Info Hi, please tell me the temps.in these months ,,do I need any jumpers? etc.Ihave lived in Africa for many yrs,and our winters were very mild...thank you in anticapation Travel Tips average temp there in Autumn is about 59-77 F BUT dont underestimate the strength of the Australian sun! it is very harsh there, more so than in any other place so do take proper percausions: If you must be out in the sun for long periods, wear a hat and use a good quality (at least 30+) sun screen to cover all parts of your body that are exposed to the sun. Easy resort wear and lightweight clothing is suitable attire for the Gold Coast's sub-tropical climate. You may need a jacket or pullover in the evening. If you're planning on doing any bushwalking through the National Parks, then a sturdy pair of comfortable hiking shoes are a must. Others My sister lives in Brisbane...........I think it can be quite cool at that time of year...........I think you might need some jumpers. G'day - I live on the Gold Coast. You have chosen a beautiful time of the year to come. You can expect average temps to range in the mid to high twenties at this time of the year. Although, March can still be very warm - up to early 30's if the weather continues in the same vein as February. A little cooler at night - bring a lightweight jumper to take off the chill - this is really all that you will need. Bring some suncream and a hat! Enjoy - you're gonna have a ball. nope it will be warm if not hot i live on the gold coast, not to far away from brissie March april and may is a good time to come, it will be around 20'C- 30'C most of the time.When you come it will be autum and thats, in my opinion, the best time of the year. Its warm here most of the year, colder now but thats coz its winter but our winters are still around 20'C... i think thats about 70'F.
