Travel Info What's the weather like in Gold Coast- Brisbane in the month of December? Travel Tips hot rainy & humid is normal for dec/jan/feb Others Too bloody hot if you ask me. Average temps will be 30 during the day. Possibly raining although the main rainy season is January and February but sometimes it arrives early. The heat is great if you are at the beach or have a pool and air conditioning and can get away from it. I travelled around Oz in the month of Jan so was in Brisbane mid Jan....fab weather very hot so slpa on the suncream but def a hot time to visit The tempurature is very warm 30-35, which is nice for beach etc. The humidity when rain and storms come make you feel like doing nothing - which is great if you want to laze around and drink - otherwise airconditioning is a big relief from the stickiness. HOT! Very HOT..... but if you are near the beach and get the breezes..It's alot cooler.... G'day - I live on the Gold Coast - you can expect beautiful (but hot and humid) weather. Say around 28 - 36 on a scale....although 30 would be the norm. The good thing about this time of the year is that we get a bit of rain. Now when I say we get rain, we have it in the afternoon or evening for a good old down pour that doesn't last long and we have the most exquisite lightening displays - they really are something to see. you can't beat a good old Queensland electrical storm Its beautiful! Perfect beach weather, average about 30. T shirts and shorts for clothing, open shoes, sandals or thongs. Sunscreen is a must as is a hat and sunglasses. There are some spectacular storms which are more exciting than in any way threatening. If your getting accommodation look for air con to make for a comfortable sleep and a pool for lazing around in. Close to the beach is handy too. Very busy time of year too as its peak holiday time. |
