Travel Tips the sunshine coast is much nicer than the gold coast as it is not as developed (yet). the beaches are lovely, water clean, and loads of restaurants and entertainment places to keep you happy. i find the people very relaxed on the sunshine coast. if you're after a more low key and laid back holiday destination then go the sunshine coast. if you want full on party atmosphere and theme parks then go to the gold coast. to me the gold coast is just like any other big city, but on the beach, while the sunshine coast is more like a country town (still on the beach though). either way, you'll enjoy, and don't forget your blockout. Others I found that girls looking to hide from husbands and significant others while having illicit encounters with multiple young partners love it! melanie spencer I like the Sunshine coast better then the Gold Coast. My favorite spot is Noosa Sunshine Coast is much more low key than the Gold Coast. Noosa and Coolum are more party oriented, but I like Peregian & Marcus Beaches. Of course I am an old fart. Not as good as it used to be when I was growing up. Very commercial now. You can still have a great time at Murphy's in moodloo |
