What is the weather temperature in Sydney, Melbourne & Philip Island, Brisbane & Gold Coast? |
Travel Info First time planning to visit Australia in late June or early July. No idea how cool is it during the winter time. So could get well prepared for the winter clothing. Travel Tips look around in here http://mirror.bom.gov.au/weather/radar/... Source(s): http://mirror.bom.gov.au/weather/radar/... Other Travel Tips Great statistics chart here: http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather... Basically, the temp in Melbourne is about 13C. You can also do a search for the locations you have listed at: http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather... if you are planning all those places you will need a large wardrobe. Melbourne/Philip Island can be cool in winter - and damp Brisbane and Gold Coast are quite mild in winter - the nights can be cool inland from there - but not too bad. I would suggest some sort of coat, but "layer" clothing to cope with the variation in temperatures and some rain gear/collapsible umbrellas. You are talking about a big distance - so be prepared try the bureau of meterorology (sp) in Aus for various climate reports. Philip Island? I presume you want to see the Fairy Penguins which only come out at night. It's cold there during the day and it's Freezing there at night. Wrap up well...lots of layers and some rain gear just in case. Remember, you're going to be sitting right on the beach beside the southern ocean with the winds coming up from the South Pole. It's cold....not Zero degrees....but close. Melbourne during the day is better...about 15 in winter Sydney, warmer....about 18-20 Brisbane, much nicer, 19-24. try this site, it has all the information on the major cities. Gold coast will be the same temprature as brisbane if not 2 or so degrees warmer. Phillip Island with just use melbourne. http://citysearch.com.au |
