Are there fireworks in Brisbane on New Year's Eve? |
Travel Info Where is the best spot to see them? Travel Tips The fireworks will be by the river they have 7 barges all around the river so that no matter you are around the river, you will be able to see the wonderful fireworks. The best place to go are Kangaroo point, Southbank, River maket, etc. Since the weather is nice, plan to go early, brin a lawn blanket or chairs and a basket of munchies. HAVE FUN Others they are always at south bank & you need to be early as well to get your spot with a picnic blanket kangaroo point is a good spot but be early as heaps go there i think on the city reach of the river viewing from the places all-ready mentioned also Mt coo-tha & other high up places are good to see them from On Mount Gravatt (southside) and up on the hill at Mitchelton (northside) if you don't like the thought of the crowds in the city yep at southbank. best to see them at southbank cause the fire from the river! (Yes )best place to see for me sitting in my lounge chair watching it on TV much quieter.Two lots one at 9pm another at 12pm. |
