Moving to the Sunshine Coast or Caboolture - Looking for Good Suburbs? |
Travel Info I was hoping that you chould shed some light on which suburbs are up and coming with Shops, Public Transport etc around the Sunshine Coast or Caboolture area? Travel Tips transport to brisbane easier from caboolture. transport within these centres the sunshine coast is the winner, although you should scope out buslines etc- check out the respective councils websites they will have links to getting around. Others Dont move to Caboolture...its a science experiment gone wrong! If your from' south of the border', you may as well move to the sunny coast with the rest of them. Caboolture or the sunny Sunshine Coast - opposite end of the spectrums. Physcial and social attributes - the coast wins handsdown! But for one thing public transport to Brisbane. But there is a train service from Nambour to Brisbane. The coast is a beautifull happening thing. quick move here before they close the gate! The beaches, rivers, mountains, clean and green. Good young university, and plenty of work - so why travel to the city? Yes I have a bias! It is where I also call home!! sunnie coast is butiful!! Do yourself a favour and dont move to caboolture. I lived there for 15 years and have seen it go downhill. It is a real ferral, inbred town now and decent people and areas are very scarce. The sunny coast on the other hand is gorgeous, there are no dead heads there becasue they cant afford it which makes it even better! Try caloundra, it is gorgeous and is halfway from the sunny coast to Caboolture. Good Luck! Depends on what your requirements are. Do you want to be near the coast or near Brisbane? Do you need to have access to public transport? Would you rather quality accomodation or cheap accomodation? Sunshine Coast definately wins over caboolture. On the coast try to live somewhere near Maroochdore as there is a major shopping centre and lots of ammenties here. Although it is rather touristy and pretty expensive. Also hard to get public transport to Brisbane from here. If you wanted to live near Brisbane and in more of a suburbia area, you could try Northlakes (about 45 min from Brisbane CBD). It is one of those Stockland planned community areas where every house looks the same but is has a major Westfield shopping centre plus cinemas, cafes etc. In general public transport isn't that great outside of the Brisbane City Council area so you really need to have a car if you choose to live on the Sunshine Coast or Caboolture or nearby. I personally would live in Brisbane and go to the coast on the weekend... I wouldnt move to caboolture its still part of Brisbane and you know whats going on down there, no water!!!!! I would move to the sunshine coast - beautiful one day perfect the next, you could go to the mountain areas Maleny or Nambour is nice anywhere around the sunshine coast is nice place live believe you me I have two sisters in the sunshine coast area. Maroochydore or Buderim is more busy but nice... |
