What is the best way to get to Brisbane? |
Travel Info The best airlines to get to Brishbane Travel Tips If you're travelling from outside of Australia, there are many international airlines serving Brisbane Directly. From Asia, you can fly with Singapore Airlines 3 times daily, from New Zealand, there are 4 airlines who you choose. From Europe, you can fly with Emirates, or Qantas, from the Americas you will either need to transit through LAX (Qantas) or Fly direct to Sydney and Fly Domestically to Brisbane. You can always fly to New Zealand and sail across to Australia, but that's a rather expensive option. If coming from within Austraila, you have many options. You can travel from most regions of Queensland to Brisbane by Air (Qantaslink) , Rail (www.qr.com.au) and of course Road. From other states you can of course drive, fly or even go by rail. All domestic airlines service Brisbane, with the exception of REX, Airnorth, Skywest and Aeropelican. You will get great fares from Qantas and Virgin Blue. Jetstar doesn't fly direct to Brisbane from Sydney or Melbourne. You can go by Rail from any capital city in Australia (Except Hobart) and many regional cities in New South Wales and Victoria. Countrylink services travel from Sydney to Brisbane daily during the night. There are many Highways and Motorways connecting Brisbane from all areas of the Country, you're best to look at a map or contact your local automobile club if you want to drive. Others Where are you coming from? Where are you traveling from? Nonetheless Qantas is one of the better airlines. I travel there all the time. I usually go with Virgin Blue, I don't really think much of Jet-Star and Virgins just as good as Qantas. They're also easier to book. Just watch out for the food and toy prices. It also depends where you're flying from. from where??? you can try railway, coaches, air, or just plain ol driving your car. Oh sorry read your question again, by air I would fly in a plane to be safe. Coming from within Australia, I'd go with Virgin Blue, they're cheaper than most other airlines and they're pretty good. I've flown with them heaps and never had a problem. |
