Well you are clearly not at home in Barton Hill. I would assume you were some where near Cumberland Basin at entrance to the floating harbour. There must be a bust of cabot somewhere there atleast there used to be one. The Merchant Venturers' ships of Bristol left from here to sail arround the world trading and return up the Avon from the West under Brunel's suspension bridge to Bristol. |
