Single Mum looking to move to Bristol or Devon area, any advice or knowledge of the area? |
Travel Info Single Mum of one, origionally from South Africa. Find kids grow up fast where we are now, and feeling isolated. Can anyone tell me what schools are like in these areas, how friendly people are as in how easy it is to meet people? Anyone interested in Festivals in summer , or know communities that are not so clicky, that are more holistically orientated and closer to nature? Pretty muchAny imformation on these areas would be greatly apprectiated! Many thanks Travel Tips Devon is nice in the right areas... (woolacombe is amazing in the summer... not so much in the winter though..... how about Barnstaple? ..... about 30-40 minutes from a beach... town of about 30-40,000 ... Umm.... it's near the countryside? A lot of Devon and Cornwall are very open countryside, small villiages and good beaches... Bristol is a bit..... blah. Come and visit for a couple of months, and see what it is really like before you make the big move.... visit different areas and see which ones you like best... |
