Travel Info I'm going to Buenos Aires for the 1st time for Memorial Day...want to know where is the best Gay area to stay? Travel Tips Try the Puerto Madero Area, in particular the Faena Hotel and Universe. It's a Phillipe Stark hotel and out does any of the Ian Schrager places in NYC. It's truly a cool place, at least go have a drink in their bar- its well worth it. The other hotels you might like are the Four Seasons and the Avelar hotels. The Palermo SoHo and Hollywood neighborhoods have some nice boutique hotels and good restaurants etc. Try Lopez Taibo stores for excellent leather goods, shoes and jackets. They are locally owned and very trusted high end leather shops. The Buenos Aires Design Center is also a nice place to visit and is located in the Recoletta area. For Discos- try Soap, especially on Wednesday nights. Enjoy, Mi Buenos Aires Quierdo! |
