Travel Info Is it true that Buenos Aires looks like a European city ?
Travel Tips
The city does very much indeed resemble the layouts of most major European cities. The individual neighborhoods are a microcosm of the cities the immigrants came from during the late 1880's-1910's. Mostly from Northern Italy, Southern Spain, and France. The city streets in the Micro center are very similar to Madrid streets while the Nueve de Julio will remind you of the Champs Ellysses. The area of San Telmo on the other town looks like Italy in almost every aspect. The Recoletta area is also very French in style with open air cafes that open on to parks etc.
