The rates are reasonable (http://www.hotelfrossard.com/tarifas_e.h... just keep in mind they are PER PERSON. For a single person, it's US$40/night. It's clean, convenient, close to good shopping and site-seeing locations, offer pick-ups to and from EZE airport and Jorge Newberry airport, etc. Have a great time there! It is a fabulous city - please consider taking a bike tour of the city, it's so much fun and a very interesting way to see the sites (http://www.biketours.com.ar) Have fun! Others i don't know but i got 2 points Hyde Park Hotel Buenos Aires 3* 72 dollars http://www.argentinas-hotels.com/buehyde... There are a lot! Just ask at the airport in the Tourist information office / cabin and make the reserve just right there! You can call by phone in a phone cabin. Usually nowadays (Aug 2006) a single room in a 2 star hotel is about 30 to 40 dollars per night or less depends on season. And you can find cheaper and also can ask for a discount if you plan to stay for a week or more (you must ask and demand it!). I'm telling you these prices are right and not something bad. The reason is good to ask in airport (or bus station) is because it could change the availability any day. So telling a hotel may not help. I'm in Argentina and I travel a lot and this technique is useful in all Argentineans cities.
