Getting an Argentina Visa as a US permanent resident? |
Travel Info I'm not a citizen of U.S.A nor any other country for that matter, cause I was born at a refugee camp in Thailand, before coming to the U.S.A as a permanent resident. I want to travel to Argentina and want to know how I can go about getting the visa. I've done research on it already and have called the consulate, but I can't understand the lady on the phone (her english isn't too good). I heard that I can get a re-entry permit then apply for the visa but I'm not totally sure. Does anyone have any idea on how I can go about doing this? Travel Tips You need a passport for international travel. In your special situation you need to check with US immigrations before you leave how to travel. So because this is so important I would call a lawyer (best : a NYC, LA or other big city lawyer) who specializes in immigrations and ask him/her this questions, or better call two different ones, to see if you get the same answer. They usually don't charge for a simple question, and probably you need to apply for some kind of form. Check out this link: http://www.hias.org/immigration/answers/...
