Is Buenos Aires inexpensive if you have American money?

Travel Info
We are thinking of going there, but is it cheap? I know you get 3 pesos for a dollar, but does dinner out a nice restaurant cost 100 pesos or 300?

Travel Tips
Dinner for two, in a really good restaurant, with starter, drinks and dessert, it's around 100 pesos (a bit more than 30 dollars)

No.I have been there. Everything is so cheap down there. I was in Argentina and Uruguay. I'd rather be in Uruguay though. I could eat and drink at a nice resaurant all night for 10 bucks. Taxi is cheap as well.
Yea, its real cheap. I had my laundry done for $15US, think of everything being half off.
oh my god! its just the best place...............and cheap as chips
It's not expensive. I was there last February. For example, an awesome steak dinner with 1/2 bottle of good wine was $7. I tipped $3 and the waiter was very pleased.
Better to have Euros
Their money was devalued by the IMF 3 years ago.

You U.S. dollar will make it very inexpensive. I lived there for a month.

Basically its Europe at 1/3 the cost.

Eat out every day, taxis everywhere, nice hotel will be $30 a day.

Enjoy. Don't tell anyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
