Families we know say that being hassled by vendors on the beach ruined there vacation. What say you?

You will enjoy your vacation. The vendors are no problem at all. They are trying to earn a living. They don't have welfare in Mexico.

Vendors sell really great items that you might like. Take your dark sunglasses and shop. If you think you want to buy something ask them. They are happy to help.

If you don't..."No, gracias" works very well. If you knew how little they make you'd understand why they are there.

Truly, only those that are looking for something to crab about do. I live in Cabo San Lucas and go to the beach several times a week. Trust me, I say "No, gracias" and they have never interferred in my enjoyment of the beach. I've also made some great purchases as well. ;-)

no but I'm intersted it the trip. I here that there is a few hostels there. it very hott and beautiful..
Every beach in Mexico is the same ... if there are tourists there (Mexican or Gringo tourists) there will be vendors. People are selling everything everywhere in Mexico. It's a very different country.

Just learn how to say NO politely ... and maybe find a quieter beach the next time.
