Travel Info In Cabo is it safe to drink the water at the resorts? Travel Tips The water in Cabo San Lucas is spring water. However, to be on the safe side, drink bottled water. Resorts have desalinization plants on property so their water from the tap is very safe to drink. Water from restaurants is all bottled as well as the ice. If they serve you water in a glass it is still bottled. What is unsafe and makes people sick is old salsa. If salsa you are served is not fresh don't eat it. Most restaurants (expensive and cheap) make their own and its excellent - just be careful. Its easy to tell salsa that's been sitting out all day...its limp and mushy. Others If it's bottled..... It's still mexico, and I woudn't drink the tap water out there anywhere. Be careful! I had no problems drinking the water at my ex's estate in Mexico, but the children did fall ill.So I would stick with bottled unless resort has filtration system. all the resorts/restuarants are required by law to have desalinization on property. The waters fine . Bottled water is available everywhere and convienant for the beach. Just use common sense with food and drink....if it looks old avoid it. Too many people get pukin drunk and then blame it on the water the next day many summers in Cabo and PV |
