Night clubs in Cabos?

My b/f and I are heading to Cabos in July I thought it might be fun to go around to different night clubs and check out the night secene in town. any places to suggest?? San Jose or San Lucas? anything I should know about being out at night? I want to have fun but I definitly don't want any trouble I already got stopped by cops in Tijauana and that was scary. Well THX

Plan for it to be hot and don't bring heels. Sandals or flip flops are perfect. It is HOT.

Cabo San Lucas has the best place for nightlife. Squid Roe is good after 10 or 11 pm, many like Cabo Wabo and Giggling Marlin. I would suggest NoWhere Bar on the marina and then Squid Roe. You might also consider Rips or Agave bars. They have very inexpensive drinks where all the other places are very pricey.

We don't have a train but we do have buses and bus stops. Its much safer at the bus stops rather than flagging one down. You don't want to get hit by the bus or a car.

At night, take a taxi back to your resort. That's safe. I don't recommend walking to the resort if you've been drinking a lot. Be aware of your surroundings - just like in the US.

I haven't been in Cabos yet, but one thing to keep you off from getting into trouble in Mexico is rather than driving after parties, just take the train station or hitch for a bus ride. As far as I know, there should be stations for both of those in popular tourist spots especially the nightlife.
Definitely Cabo San Lucas for party. Check Squid Roe, Giggling Marlin Cabo Wabo and Hard Rock Cafe.
The restaurants on Medano beach like Billygans, Mango Deck and The Office during the day are great, water sports available for rent.
San Jose is very quiet, just some bars like Shutters or The Corner Bar to chat with your friends, but forget dancing.
