Do I have to have a passport to visit Mexico fron the US? |
Travel Info We are going on a cruis in Feb and Someone told me I had to have a passport that my ID and Birth Certificate were not enough. Does anyone know which is correct? Other Travel Tips well I'm pretty sure the new law takes affect the 1 of January so yes you will need a passport in February. I visited Mexico in May of 2006. My sister and her boyfriend both used a driver's license and Birth cerficate without a problem. But I was told in 2007 that will change and you will need a passport. I bought a passport. It cost about $90 and is valid for 10 years. enjoy. Yes. I was in mexico 3 years ago and a passport was required. Yes. By February, yes. I would do it now, the closer it gets to winter, the bigger the lines at the passport office. |
