Travel Info What are some must do things in Cabo San Lucas, or have you ever stayed at the Finesterra? Travel Tips I haven't stayed at Finisterra, but I like to stay next door at Solmar. My wife and I have gone over a few times though. It is a beautiful place and very friendly staff. The beach isn't for swimming due to the current, but at least you don't have hawkers on the beach bothering you. You will have a great view of the sun setting and the houses on Pedregal. As far as the "must do's" in Cabo... Have a margarita at Margaritavilla. Eat at Cabo Wabo... and have a Waborita. Eat at El Pescador. Have a Caesar salad at El Galeon (made table-side). Have lunch at La Concha Beach Club. Have lunch at The Office. Shop the little shops, not the mall. Stop in at Hard Rock just to do it. Party till dawn at El Squid Roe. Source(s): I didn't like the snorkeling in Cabo... too churly, but the fishing is AWESOME... Watersports are a big thing Other Travel Tips Hola! There are so many things to do in Cabo (other than eat and drink - like Robb pointed out in his answer!!) You will find you several activities outside your resort such as snorkeling, glassboat rides, seadooing, scuba diving, parasailing, ultralight flying, atv'ing, seeing whales, seeing turtles, swimming with dolphins, excellent night life, 4x4ing tours, tour to the waterfalls, shopping, biking, spas, beach volleyball, etc. The finesterra is an older 4 star hotel perched on the hillside of cabo, facing the pacific ocean. The sunsets are breathtaking. I've eaten at the blue marlin (their restaurant) a couple of times, not too bad. The rooms are basic, nothing spectacular. The pools and pool bars are nice. There are lots of on-site activities. It is a short walk to town. Swimming in the ocean is not recommended on that side. Have a great vacation in Cabo! My wife and I just returned from Cabo. I would recommend one evening (at least) where you go into town -- for the clubs and bars. My first choice is Sammy Hagar's Cab Wabo. Sammy is there right now and will be laying until the 5th of January 2007. Other must see places at the restaurants along the marina at night; the Hard Rock, the Giggling Marlin; El Squid Roe are all great places. Snorkeling is a great day activity -- there are options for this all over the area. One day should be spent just being on the beach. Cabo has some of the finest and most beautiful beaches compared to anywhere in the world. Sun, surf, food and clubbing == that is what Cabo is all about. We are not golfers -- but if you enjoy that, you will love Cabo as well. We stayed at the Westin and it was a great place to stay -- beautiful views and a great beach. the only downside is that Cabo has become a very expensive lace -- given its popularity. We paid $5 for diet cokes. You will love it. Pone la loci贸n en su piel -- hace esto siempre que se diga... |
