Need advice on where to stay in Cabo?

Four of my friends and I are goign to Cabo San Lucas for a week in March. We are mid 20's. Where would be a good place for us to stay? We are looking to spend around 200 a night? Any suggestions? Should we do inclusive hotels or not? Please give me any suggestions! Thank you

Hola! I recommend you stay in any hotel on Medano Beach. Read below. Have an excellent time!

Playa El M茅dano 鈥?Where the Action Is
Cabo鈥檚 main beach, El M茅dano (The Dune) is a fun place with an outstanding view of Land鈥檚 End. Stretching two miles from the Hotel Hacienda to Villa del Palmar and hopping with activity, El M茅dano is close to downtown and safe for swimming. Packed with restaurant-bars in the sand, El M茅dano offers beach volleyball, high-powered Jet Skis or Sea Doos, kayaks, small catamarans, sailboats, ski boats, boogie boarding, and parasailing. Snorkeling and dive trips to sites near El Arco are easily arranged. El M茅dano is party central, known for all-day happy hours, people watching, and endless beach vendors. Popular spots to eat and grab a cool one are The Office, Mango Deck, Billygan鈥檚 Island, and Las Palmas.

Also highly recommended because it is very close to Cabo's downtown and many clubs i.e. Cabo Wabo, El Squid Roe, Giggling Marlin, etc. etc. Hotels along this beach are:
Casa Dorada, Melia, Pueblo Bonito, Pueblo Bonito Rose, Club Cascadas, Villa del Arco, Villa la Estancia, etc etc

When booking, see if there is a package with airfare and hotel included. That is your cheapest bet.

Others
We stayed at The Presidente Intercontinental in San Jose Del Cabo. It is about a 15 minute drive to Cabo San Lucas, but it is a great place to stay. You should definately do an all-inclusive-- all of your meals, drinks, & tips are included, and for what you are willing to spend, you should find a pretty nice hotel to stay at in that price range.

If you are looking for an excursion to do-- we booked the kayaking and snorkeling adventure down by El Arco-- it was really fun and beautiful... you actually kayak OUT to the Arc. If you are adventurous, definately do the 4 wheeling excursion. They actually bring you to 2 different spots for about 30 minutes each to explore on your own for as fast as you want-- it was SO much fun! They also take you along these beautiful bluffs overlooking the Pacific-- the view is like nothing I have ever seen!
