What is the difference between san jose del cabo and cabo san lucas, mexico ? |
Travel Info looking for general travel insight Travel Tips Hola! There is a big difference between the two places!! San Jose del Cabo is closer to the airport but it is considered the quieter more quaint town. Bordered by the main beach called costa azul, it is more laid back and slow. There is a zocalo (town square) and a touristy shopping area with great restaurants and "lounge like" nightlife. It is clean and safe and friendly. If you just want to chill with a good book and a drink, then this is the place you want to go. Cabo San Lucas is about 20 minutes away from the airport and it is crazy, lively, fun. There are tons of clubs and bars that rock all night. The main beach is called Medano, and it is a non stop party 24/7. There are touristy shops and lots of restaurants. If you are looking to have a blast and get little sleep, then this is where you want to be. The Corridor is the place between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. It basically is a non stop strip of beach running between the two towns, with one resort hotel after another all along it. Most of these resorts have their own activities and bars on site, so many people stay and only take the odd trip into the two towns to sightsee. Both towns offer lots of activities and tour groups. I would check with the place you are staying to find out more, but to give you and idea, there are zip lines, atving, snorkeling, scuba, surfing, parasailing, booze cruising, ultralight, dolphin swimming, and even bungee jumping. Have an excellent time! Others the difference between the two san jose del cabo and cabo san lucas is 20 minutes drive time less crowed and cheaper acomodation not much and its more relaxing and less tourists |
